
Phra That Doi Suthep Temple
Phra That Doi Suthep Temple is located in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park at an elevation of 1,046 meters above sea level. It was built in 1927 BE during the reign of Phra Ya Kue Na, and it is one of the most important temples in Chiang Mai. The Buddha’s relics are contained in the chedi. The temple area has a courtyard that is a beautiful viewpoint of Chiang Mai city. Phra That Doi Suthep Temple has also been declared a national historic site.
