Tour Overview
Discover the enchanting Mae Wang Area, just south of Chiang Mai. Our trek takes you to Hmong and Karen hill tribes, a stunning waterfall, and refreshing forest trails. Enjoy heartwarming moments with elephants – no riding, just feeding, hugging, and bathing. Glide on a bamboo raft along the scenic Mae Wang River. This one-day trek suits those who prefer an easier pace with shorter walks. Unlike other treks, we emphasize serene bamboo rafting, excluding intense white water rafting. Experience Mae Wang’s tranquility and beauty on this adventure.
Itinerary
– 08.00 – 08.30 a.m. Pick up from the hotel
– Drive towards Mae Wang, a Local market visit
– Introduction to the Thai Elephant lifestyle
– Make Herbal Medicine for elephants.
– Feeding and taking a walk along with elephants.
– Mudspa and bathing with elephants.
– Enjoy a traditional Thai meal ( Lunch )
– Visit the Karen Hill tribe village
– Take a walk to visit the waterfall
– Enjoy a bamboo rafting
